Upcoming Trends in Bathroom Design - Report from Italy

David Goldberg of Union Hardware recently got back from a large kitchen and bathroom industry show called Cersaie in Bologna Italy. According to David, this show is two years ahead of the trend hitting us here on the east coast and longer as you travel inland. With that thought in mind, David reports on some of the trends that he saw in Italy that are headed to the U.S.
In a nutshell:
- The Italians are the trend setters
- Chrome is king
- Contemporary design pervades
- Mirrors are narrow and are being hung crooked
- Pedestal sinks and floor mounted faucets are popular in Europe
