Danze bathroom and kitchen faucets are available in many plumbing show rooms and on the Internet. However, we've often wondered who stands behind Danze? More important are they reliable like Kohler, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Delta, Moen and American Standard or problematic like Pegasus faucets. Turns out that Danze is one of the brands of Globe Union, a large multinational company based in Taiwan.

"Danze has been around for about 10 years and is the fastest growing plumbing products company on the market today"  according to Linda Bendt of Always-Thinking.com. The Danze brand is a part of the Globe Union industrial group of companies that was founded in 1979. 

Globe Union is one of the world's largest suppliers of plumbing products. it sells sells plumbing products in over 30 countries and is a publically traded company. Globe Union markets its products both as a factory to other brands, and under its own brand names including:

• Gerber
• Fusion
• GOBO
• Moods
• Prima
• Wellness Whirlpool
• Kitchen GroupLenz

Will Danze faucets hold up?
Hmm, we don't really know. We have not bought any nor have we heard from homeowners who did. The Great Indoors Stores stick a wide selection and they are found on Internet plumbing websites.

Danze is offering direct rebates of up to $500 per bathroom until November 15, 2009. The aggressive offers to homeowners include:
